How do you renew an EMS certification in West Virginia?

West Virginia requires uninterrupted NREMT certification at every level; if your NREMT lapses, your West Virginia certification is suspended. Hours follow the NCCP model, for example 50 for AEMT. You apply in ImageTrend between October 1 and December 31 of the year before expiration, and the deadline is 90 days before your expiration date.

How this relates to NREMT

West Virginia requires you to hold current National Registry certification, so the NREMT cycle drives your renewal. See the NREMT requirements by level.
