How do you renew an EMS certification in Tennessee?

Tennessee sets its own requirements, lower than NCCP: EMR 10 hours, EMT 20, AEMT 25, paramedic 32 and critical-care paramedic 42 every two years. At least half must be classroom (category F5), and the NREMT assessment exam is accepted in lieu of hours.

How this relates to NREMT

Tennessee runs its own pathway. National Registry certification is not required to renew, though many providers keep it for portability. See the NREMT requirements by level.
