How do you renew an EMS certification in Oregon?
Oregon's state hours are lower than NCCP: EMR 12, EMT 24, AEMT and EMT-I 36, paramedic 48 every two years. Every cycle also requires a two-hour culture, race, gender and ethnicity training (one hour for EMR) and a current AHA BLS/CPR card. EMR certifications expire June 30 of even years; all other levels June 30 of odd years.
