How do you renew an EMS certification in Oklahoma?

Oklahoma requires NREMT for nationally registered personnel, recertifying by exam or by NCCP CE every two years. One difference from most states: Oklahoma does not require the local (LCCR) portion of NCCP. Non-registered or grandfathered providers use the pre-2016 refresher rules.

How this relates to NREMT

Oklahoma requires you to hold current National Registry certification, so the NREMT cycle drives your renewal. See the NREMT requirements by level.
