How do you renew an EMS certification in Idaho?
Idaho renews EMR and EMT licenses every three years and AEMT and paramedic licenses every two, under IDAPA 15.06.07. On the state path the totals are 15 hours for EMR, 36 for EMT, 40 for AEMT and 60 for paramedic, with pediatric minimums of 2, 4, 6 and 8 hours, at least one hour in every category, and a per-category cap of 5, 12, 13 and 20 hours respectively. Current NREMT is the alternative pathway.
