How do you renew an EMS certification in Connecticut?
Connecticut requires NREMT and uses the NCCP totals of 16, 40, 50 and 60 hours. Paramedics hold an annual state license tied to the two-year NREMT cycle. EMRs, EMTs and AEMTs must also complete suicide-prevention training. Renewals go through CT eLicense with a 90-day grace period.
