How do you renew an EMS certification in Alabama?
Alabama requires current NREMT and follows the NCCP totals of 16, 40, 50 and 60 hours every two years. Each renewal also requires Alabama Protocols verification, a medical-director attestation covering three random scenarios. The renewal window is January 1 to March 31.
